Safer album covers
Stop private photos from showing as album thumbnails in your library grid.
What it is
Album covers can use auto (first photos), a custom cover you pick, or a safe/generic cover that does not show real private photo URLs in grids. Safer covers reduce shoulder-surfing when your album list is open.
Why it helps
Even with Require unlock to open, a thumbnail of the first photo can leak what’s inside. A safe cover keeps the grid neutral until you unlock.
How to use it
- 1
Open the album’s edit / cover settings.
- 2
Choose a safe / generic cover mode (or pick a custom non-sensitive cover photo).
- 3
Combine with Require unlock to open so opening the album still needs the vault PIN.
