Storefront, service area, and hybrid

When you list as a local pro, FWDLink asks how you serve customers. That choice controls whether your street address can show and how neighbors understand your coverage.

The three styles

Style Meaning Street address
Storefront Customers come to you Can be shown
Service area You go to the customer Stays private
Hybrid Both — people can visit, and you also travel Can be shown, plus areas you serve

Pick the option that matches how you actually work. You can change it later in page settings.

Examples

  • Storefront — salon, shop, or office where clients walk in.
  • Service area — plumber or mobile cleaner who works at the customer’s place and prefers not to publish a home address.
  • Hybrid — bakery with a storefront that also delivers, or a studio that takes walk-ins and on-site gigs.

How to set it

  1. Open your page / bio builder.
  2. Enable Local listing if it isn’t on yet.
  3. Under how you serve customers, choose Storefront, Service area, or Hybrid.
  4. Fill city, trade, and any service-area details the form asks for.
  5. Save.

Tips

  • Service area is the usual choice when you don’t want a residential street on Local.
  • Hybrid is for “both” — don’t pick it if you never take walk-ins.
  • This setting is about Local presence; it doesn’t change album privacy or FWD links.
