How it works

Your page, albums, and FWD links

How your public page, private albums, and forwardable FWD links work together day to day.

Your page, albums, and FWD links

Three surfaces do different jobs. Mixing them up is the usual source of “why isn’t this public?” confusion.

Your page

Your page is the public link people open when they search for you or tap your bio link. Put your bio, contact, featured albums, products, and booking-style blocks there.

  • Edit it from your page / bio builder after you sign in.
  • Only what you publish on the page is visible there.
  • Your full library under Records stays private until you feature or share something.

Albums & Records

Records is home for albums — job photos, personal sets, client work. New albums stay private by default.

Use albums when you need a set to open later, attach to a handoff, or share on purpose. See Creating and organizing albums.

A FWD is a live link you forward to someone — an album, update, or related handoff — without putting that set on your public page or on Local.

Good for: client updates, one-off shares, estimates that include photos.

Not the same as: listing yourself on Local, or pinning a gallery on your page.

Putting it together

Goal Use
Look professional when someone Googles or taps your link Your page
Keep job photos organized Albums in Records
Send a client just this job’s photos A FWD link
Get found by neighbors nearby Local (see Local guides)

Example

Portfolio shots live on your page. This week’s remodel stays in a private album. You FWD that album to the owner. Separately you appear in Local Pages so people nearby can hire you.
