Used equipment for sale, from people who use it
Marketplace has a Construction equipment category. Open your city, then pick a machine type: excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, backhoes, telehandlers, aerial lifts, dump trucks, compactors, trenchers, equipment trailers, or attachments. You see the photos on the listing. You message the seller. Nothing here is a promise that a certain machine is in stock in your town today.
A buyer guide for used construction equipment
Read the hours and find the serial plate in the photos. Look for leaks, cracked welds, worn pins, and a cutting edge or bucket that is gone. Ask what job it came off and whether it starts, drives, and lifts. On a skid steer, check the tires or tracks, the quick coupler, and the cab. On anything with a title, ask to see it before you pay. A clean set of photos is a start. The visit is where you decide.
Used skid steers for sale
A used skid steer listing should show the hours, the tires or tracks, the bucket, and whether an attachment comes with it. Ask if the coupler locks, if the hydraulics are dry, and if it has been sitting. If you are selling one, post those same photos. Buyers in the trade already know what a tired edge looks like. Showing it saves both of you the drive.
Used trailers for sale
Trailers are a local buy. A trailer across the state is a different haul from one in your city, whether that is Fort Myers or the next town over. Look at the floor, the lights, the axles, the tires, and the weight rating on the listing, then look at them in person. Ask for the title. If you are selling, say the length, the axles, and what you haul with it.
Used cars, trucks, and tires near you
The same Local board has used cars and trucks, and auto parts such as tires. For a truck, ask for the mileage, the title, and photos of the bed, the tires, and anything that leaks. For used tires, look at the tread in the photos and the date code on the sidewall, and have a shop mount them. Meet for a vehicle in a public place. Post the truck or the set of tires you are actually ready to sell.
Post what you are selling
Take the photos in daylight. Include the hour meter or the odometer, the serial plate or the VIN, and the wear you would want to see if you were buying. Name the city. Say what is included. A listing with honest photos is easier to trust than a one-line ad. You can post free.
