This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use the FWDLink Platform at fwdlink.com, including your public page, albums, content and photo sharing, and all related services. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. If you sell on the Platform, the Creator Terms also apply; if you buy, the Fan Terms apply. All of our policies are indexed in the Legal Center.
By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, termination, and/or reporting to law enforcement.
1. General Standards
All content you post, list, or share on the Platform must:
- Be legal under all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.
- Be accurate, honest, and not misleading.
- Respect the rights of other users and third parties.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to consumer protection, privacy, and commerce.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not post, upload, share, or facilitate any content that:
2.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- Promotes, facilitates, or encourages illegal activity of any kind.
- Involves the sale, exchange, or facilitation of illegal goods or services.
- Constitutes or facilitates money laundering, fraud, or financial crimes.
- Involves counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulently obtained goods.
2.2 Sexually Explicit Content — Prohibited
Sexually explicit content and pornography may not be shared, sold, or monetized on FWDLink — whether free or paid — via share links, pages, memberships, libraries, messages, or outbound promotions that use the Platform to sell such material.
Private vault exception (storage only). Users may enable a client-encrypted album vault for personal at-rest private storage. Private personal storage is not a license to distribute explicit content on FWDLink as an open or paid product; monetization of vault-locked albums is blocked. Password-protected or private shares may leave “only you” when you choose to send — sexually explicit public or monetized content remains prohibited platform-wide. After un-encrypting, normal moderation applies before any open share.
We use automated screening (including image analysis) and human review to enforce distribution rules on non-vault media. Uploads may be held, removed, or rejected when they appear to violate these standards. Swimwear, fitness, and similar non-explicit imagery is not automatically treated as prohibited, but may be held for review when ambiguous. See also Child Safety & Non-Consensual Content Policy.
You may not post, sell, or facilitate sexually explicit material on FWDLink, mislabel it as ordinary content, or move prohibited transactions off-Platform while using FWDLink to advertise them.
2.3 Prohibited Sexual and Exploitative Content — Zero Tolerance
The following are never permitted, on any plan, in any jurisdiction, whether free or paid, whether public or in a private message. Violations result in immediate removal and account termination, and are reported to authorities where the law requires it. The full policy is at Child Safety & Non-Consensual Content Policy.
- Any sexual content involving a person under 18 — photographic, video, drawn, animated, computer-generated, or AI-generated; and any content that sexualizes a real minor, including edited or synthetic images. Claiming a subject is over 18, or that a depiction is fictional, does not make it permitted. Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and to law enforcement, and the associated records are preserved.
- Grooming — any attempt to contact, befriend, or manipulate a minor for a sexual purpose, and any content that normalizes or instructs on it.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery — intimate or sexual images of an adult published without that person's consent, including images shared privately and then published, images obtained by hacking or theft, hidden or covert recordings, upskirt and downblouse images, content recorded with consent but published without it, and sexual deepfakes of a real identifiable person.
- Sextortion — threatening to publish intimate content to obtain money, further content, or any other advantage.
- Trafficking and coercion — human trafficking, sex trafficking, debt bondage, content produced under coercion or threat, and accounts operated on someone's behalf without their free and informed agreement.
- Commercial sexual exploitation — advertising, arranging, soliciting, or paying for in-person sexual services or escorting, and recruiting any person into commercial sexual activity.
- Content depicting non-consensual sexual activity as real, including content presented as an actual assault.
- Sexual content involving animals, or depicting necrophilia.
- Sexual content depicting or simulating serious injury, mutilation, or death.
- Incest presented as real, and content depicting sexual activity between family members presented as actual.
- Content that presents an adult as a minor for sexual purposes, including through school settings, toys, or age-regression framing.
- Publishing a person's identity alongside intimate content without their consent, including naming, tagging, or linking to their other accounts.
- Content that a person shown has asked to be removed, or for which consent has been withdrawn.
Report illegal, non-consensual, or policy-violating content through Report Content & Takedown Requests. Copyright claims use the DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy. Everything else, including appeals, goes through the Complaints & Appeals Policy.
2.4 Harmful and Dangerous Content
- Promotes, glorifies, or instructs on self-harm, suicide, or harm to others.
- Constitutes threats, harassment, intimidation, or bullying directed at any individual or group.
- Incites or promotes violence, terrorism, or hate crimes.

- Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity.

- Infringes or violates the copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
- Contains unauthorized use of third-party logos, brand names, or imagery.
- Reproduces or distributes copyrighted material without authorization.
2.7 Spam and Deceptive Practices
- Constitutes spam, junk mail, chain letters, or unsolicited bulk communications.
- Uses deceptive titles, descriptions, or images to mislead users about the nature of a listing or content.

- Promotes pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing fraud, or similar deceptive schemes.
- Uses multiple accounts or automated tools to manipulate platform algorithms or visibility.
2.8 Technical Abuse
- Contains malware, viruses, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code.
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, user accounts, or related systems.
- Uses automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access or collect data from the Platform without express permission.
- Disrupts, interferes with, or degrades the performance or security of the Platform.
- Circumvents any access controls, security measures, or geo-restrictions.

3.5 Real Estate and Housing
- All real estate and rental listings must comply with the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq.) and all applicable state and local fair housing laws. 4. Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, use monetization features, interact with mature content, post listings, or engage in marketplace transactions on the Platform. By using these features, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
Age confirmation at signup and before age-restricted content loads is a declaration by the user, not identity verification. Creators who sell age-restricted content must additionally complete identity verification, and must hold records for every person shown in their content. The Age Verification Policy sets out exactly what is checked, for whom, and what those checks cannot establish.
Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that any item restricted by age (for example, alcohol or tobacco) is only sold to eligible buyers in compliance with applicable law.
5. Business Listing Standards
Business listings on the Platform must:
- Accurately represent the business, its services, and its contact information.
- Not impersonate another business or professional.
- Not contain fake or incentivized reviews.
- Not use keywords or categories that do not accurately describe the business to manipulate search results.
- Be for a legitimate business operating in compliance with all applicable laws and licensing requirements.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or listings that you believe violate this AUP or our Terms of Service, report it through Report Content & Takedown Requests. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be personally affected. Include the URL and a description of the problem.
- Content involving a possible minor, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, or a credible threat is treated as urgent and restricted while we review it. See the Child Safety & Non-Consensual Content Policy.
- Copyright infringement follows its own statutory process — see the DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy.
- Response times, how a report is reviewed, and how to appeal a decision are in the Complaints & Appeals Policy.
7. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in, at our sole discretion:
- Removal of the offending content or listing without notice.
- A formal warning issued to your account.
- Temporary suspension of your account and posting privileges.
- Permanent termination of your account.
- Referral to law enforcement for criminal violations.
- Civil legal action to recover damages and costs.
FWDLink reserves the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of users who violate this AUP, including disclosing account information as legally required.
Enforcement is generally graduated, and some categories skip the ladder entirely. How strikes work and how to appeal a decision are set out in the Complaints & Appeals Policy.
8. No Endorsement
FWDLink does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for any User Content, listings, business information, or transactions. The presence of content or a listing on the Platform does not constitute our recommendation, verification, or guarantee of any kind.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
