Message Local Pages nearby
On Local, most conversations start from someone’s FWDLink Page. Browse Jobs, Help Wanted, or the Pages directory, open a Page nearby, and send a message — replies land in their Inbox.
From Jobs or Help Wanted
- Open a job listing or an Available for hire Page in your city.
- Use Message (or open the Page, then message from there).
- Say what you need, when, and any pay or details you already know.
- Keep the thread in FWDLink so both of you have the history.
If a listing belongs to a Page, messaging usually routes to that Page’s owner.
From the Pages directory
- Go to Local → Pages for your city.
- Filter by trade or search when those options are available.
- Open a Page and use Message (and Call / Text / Email if they enabled them).
You don’t need a separate Local-only account — sign in with the same FWDLink account you use for your Page.
Tips for a good first message
- Be specific: job, day, neighborhood, and what you’re offering or need.
- Keep contact details you’re willing to share; you can always call or text if both sides prefer.
