Available for hire on Jobs
Available for hire is a Page setting. When it’s on, your Page can appear on Hire talent, Jobs, and Help Wanted in your primary city so people nearby who need skilled hands — neighbors, homeowners, local businesses, and crews — can find you, with your headline, rate (if you set one), and skill tags.
Leave it off if you’re a homeowner or you don’t want hire messages.
Turn it on
- Sign in and open your Page builder at
/customize/?tab=settings(or Page → settings in the app). - Make sure you’re listed as a local pro and you’ve picked a primary city.
- Check Available for hire on Jobs.
- Add a clear title / headline and optional rate so hirers know what you offer.
- Save. You can show up on Hire talent and on Jobs / Help Wanted strips for that city.
Tip
Homeowners and storefronts that aren’t looking for hire work should leave this off. Being on Local as a pro is separate from being marked available for hire.
What people see
On Hire talent and Jobs / Help Wanted, available Pages often show an Available for hire label, your headline, and tags. Opening the card goes to your real FWDLink Page, where they can message or call using the options you enabled.
