Post a local job free
You can post a Jobs listing on Local for free. Neighbors in your city can browse it on Jobs and Help Wanted, then message you through your Page.
How to post
- Sign in (or create a free Page if you’re new).
- Open Local for your city and choose Post.
- Set the category to Jobs (city post links often look like
…/post/?category=jobs). - Pick the closest Jobs child when prompted (general labor, construction & trades, and similar).
- Add a clear title, what you need, when you need help, pay details if you have them, and photos if they help.
- Publish. Your listing appears on Local marketplace feeds for that area.
Tip
Need someone this week for hands-on work? Keep the title and details concrete (day, neighborhood, tools, pay). Same-week posts show up naturally under Help Wanted.
After you post
People reach you through the contact options on your listing and Page — usually a message into your Inbox. Agree on the work and pay directly; see How Local Jobs works.
