Join as skilled labor — get found for hire
If you do hands-on work nearby — trades, crews, day labor, handyman help, yard, moving, cleanup — FWDLink Local is a simple way to get found. You keep a free Page with job photos, show up by trade and city, and people nearby who need skilled hands — neighbors, homeowners, local businesses, and crews — message you to hire direct.
How it works
- Create a free Page (your public home for photos, rates, and messages).
- List yourself on Local with your trade and primary city.
- Add job photos so people can see your work.
- Optionally turn on Available for hire so you appear on Hire talent, Jobs, and Help Wanted in that city.
- When someone messages you, agree on the work and pay between yourselves — FWDLink doesn’t take a cut of the job.
Leave Available for hire off if you’re a homeowner or you don’t want hire messages.
Where people find you
| Place | What they see |
|---|---|
| Hire talent | Available-for-hire Pages by trade — photo-first, not a resume pile |
| Pages by trade + city | Your Page in the directory (e.g. handyman near your city) |
| Jobs hub | Open job listings (Hire talent is the Pages pool next door) |
| Help Wanted | Same-week hands-on posts and available Pages |
Tips that help
- Pick a clear trade (painting, plumbing, landscaping, general labor, and more).
- Use a short headline and optional rate so hirers know what you offer.
- Keep a few real job photos on your Page — before/after or finished work works well.
- Message back from your Page so the conversation stays in one place.
